Suzanne Carter is a mixed media artist based in Tomakin on the South Coast of NSW, working across acrylic, watercolour, and woven textile elements. Her practice is grounded in intuition, using layered colour, texture, and form to explore themes of connection, resilience, and presence.

Drawing inspiration from nature and lived experience, Suzanne’s work reflects a quiet awareness of change — how growth unfolds over time and how small, repeated moments shape our inner world. Her compositions balance structure with flow, inviting viewers to pause and find their own meaning within the work.

Her evolving collections include the Woven Collection, Koi Collection, Deep Reflections, Exuberance, and Botanicals, each exploring movement, emotion, and transformation. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Canberra Show, Eurobodalla Agricultural Show, and South Coast Private Hospital, and recognised through multiple awards in modern, mixed media, and service art categories.

She is also a co-founder of the Bowerbird Arts Trail – Bay to Broulee, connecting artists and visitors through open studios across the region.

Through her work, Suzanne aims to create a sense of calm, reflection, positivity, and quiet strength.
